Still no news really.  Husband talked to the gentleman he know at the company and he was under the impression that they were hiring my husband.  So we will wait...............

The realtor held an open house for other realtors.  11 realtors came and looked at the house.  All said it was very nice and would keep it in mind if they had a client looking for that price range/size.  At least it's something.

No news yesterday.  What a disappointment.  Ok today!

Yesterday was full of good news.  Husband got a call about a job. Not sure if an offer is coming tomorrow or and interview.  Either way we are beyond excited.  The realtor called to see if it would be ok to do an open house for other realtors on Friday. Sure!  The house is in a rundown area of a military town.  Our house is nice but the there are others that are not.  It's been on the market for 30 days and hasn't been shown once.  Sadness.

Wow. So much has changed since 2015 when I started this.  I never did buy the kitchen table either.  LOL.
Baby Girl has been in school for an entire semester and is doing wonderful.  She is pretty much totally off our payroll.  Life has changed for us though.  Husband took an early retirement in January and this significantly reduced our income. Our only goal this year is to PAY OFF OUR HOUSE!!!!
We currently have 2 houses.  One is in another city and is currently on the market.  We are asking $62,900 and hoping for a $50,000 profit as we own the home outright.  We owe $88,147.29 on our other house.  This is reduced about $950 with each monthly payment. Our plan is to apply the entire profit from the sale of the 2nd house toward the payoff.  Stay tuned.

A New Kitchen Table

Ok so not all of the children are off our payroll.  We still have one at home.  She is 17 and just got her license and a job.  Woot!  We are working toward a goal here.
Our $$$ is almost ours again.  It's been so long.  I loved having babies and everything that came with it:  school, field trips, Girl Scouts, concerts, plays, zoo, t-ball, etc. but I am ready for something else.  I will always be their mommy.  Always there when they need me.  However; they will be making messes in their houses not mine.  Oh I can finally get a new kitchen table.  Mine has scratches and marks all over it from years of children abuse.
I know I will miss my youngest dearly when she leaves for college.  She is the sweetest thing and takes such good care of her mommy but I promise you I am going to be alright. :)
